Fall break is here! I hope everyone enjoys a restful and refreshing long weekend! There will be no school on Monday and Tuesday, so take this time to relax and enjoy time with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming our Eagles back on Wednesday, ready for another great week at Broomfield High School. We will have block on Wednesday and Thursday as usual.

Want to earn college credits and BVSD graduation credits next semester or next year? Many FRCC courses are Guaranteed Transfer to four-year Colorado colleges, and you can choose from exclusive District Select courses available only to BVSD students.

How to Get Started:

1. Get your FRCC Student ID (SNumber) or skip to Step 2 if you already have one)

   Here's the helpful student guide for completing the application.

   Make sure FRCC applies for COF on your behalf (last page of the application)

   After completing the application, sign back in: My Account → Profile to find your SNumber.

   If you receive an email from FRCC stating that you have been selected for verification and asking you to verify your identity through Safe ID, do not complete the verification. Instead, please email me directly.
   
   

2. Choose your course from the District Select Program
   
   

3. Complete the College Before Graduation Agreement (CBG) to request funding for your course for Spring 2027.
   
   

4. Email your SNumber to kelly.isom@bvsd.org. and schedule your registration meeting. 
   

AT 8 a.m. on the Wednesday following fall break, BVSD will operate a test of its emergency alert system. All BVSD parents, staff and high school students will receive a test alert via Apptegy that will include a phone call, SMS text message, app push notification, and email. The message will only be a test, no response is required.

Users can then adjust their communication preferences as desired via the instructions on the BVSD app webpage.
