Class Schedules

Finalized student schedules will be viewable in Infinite Campus on Friday, August 7th at 4 p.m. Counselors will be available on August 10th and 11th to assist students if their schedules need to be adjusted due to errors. The student must address all schedule concerns in person during the scheduled time for their grade level. Please read the schedule change guidelines carefully before coming in to meet with a counselor, as changes are only made under specific circumstances. If the request qualifies, you'll find the schedule change dates and times listed below.

Schedule changes will be permitted ONLY for the following reasons:

  • If you have less than five classes each semester for Seniors/Juniors or less than six classes for Sophomores/Freshmen. Most students will have a free period.
  • If you are missing a required course in error. For example, you have World History in 1st Semester but not 2nd Semester.
  • If you would like to drop a course and have enough credits to do so.
  • If you took a course during the summer and need to adjust your current courses.

Counselors will not adjust schedules to accommodate specific off periods, class period changes, teacher preference or lunch. If you would like to be a student assistant, please stop by the Counseling Office, room 809, for the necessary paperwork.

Times to meet with a Counselor:

  • Seniors - August 10th, 9-11 a.m.
  • Juniors - August 10th, 1-3 p.m.
  • Sophomores - August 11th, 9-11 a.m.
  • Freshmen-August 11th, 1-3 p.m.
  • Location: Counseling Office, enter at the Main Office

Important Deadlines:

  • The last day to fill an open period with a course (based on space available) is August 17th.
  • Clean drops will be allowed until September 2nd. (As long as the student has the minimum required number of classes).
  • Classes dropped between September 3rd and September 25th will appear as WP (Withdraw Pass) or WF (Withdraw Fail) on the transcript.
  • Any class dropped on September 26th and beyond will be an F on the transcript.

Download the New BVSD App: All School Updates in One Place

BVSD is using Apptegy, an app-based messaging tool that all families can download to communicate with schools, their teachers, and the district. Before school begins, all guardians will receive a text message and email from BVSD with information on how to download and login. When you receive them, please follow these instructions to begin seeing updates from your schools and communicating directly with your teachers via the app.

The app features a live feed of news and updates, the ability to receive push notifications, and 2-way communication between teachers, coaches and parents. Read more: Download the New BVSD App: All school updates in one place

Breakfast and Lunches

Breakfast is served after the first period of each day. Times are published at the bottom of the bell schedule, linked above. Lunch will be during Period 4 on Mon, Tues and Fri with a Common Lunch on Wed and Thurs. Lunch is not a separate class period. It is based on where your 4th period class is located. North classrooms will have lunch at the beginning of the period; South classrooms will have lunch at the end of the period.

Breakfast and lunch are FREE for BVSD students. Students can receive a breakfast, along with one lunch entree (with unlimited salad/fruit to accompany the entree) for free each day. Even though lunch is free, it is still very important that families complete the Free & Reduced Price School Meal application, as it waives and reduces fees (including athletics/activities and school technology fees) district-wide for many families, can impact transportation for some families, and impacts important funding for individual schools. It also qualifies some families for a 50% reduction in Lifelong Learning tuition, and waived tuition for BVSD Online classes (excluding the $50 registration fee). Child Care families will continue to apply for financial assistance through the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP).

IT will post the 1:Web/Chromebook fee in October.

Optional Fees

There are several optional fees that support our students in different ways. These fees are listed in RevTrak in Broomfield High 2026-2027 School Year.

  • Student Activity Pass - This is an annual purchase that allows the student entry to all home athletic events. It does not cover playoff games or tournaments. Family punch passes are also available for purchase.
  • Booster Club Family Membership - This donation helps to support all athletic programs at Broomfield High. Our goal is to minimize student and coach fundraising campaigns to allow them to focus on the sport, not raising money.
  • JAM Donation - Just After Midnight is our after-prom event for Seniors, Juniors and their guests. This event is an essential part of our school to support our students making positive decisions on Prom night. We encourage you to get involved - even at the freshman level. It is a great way to meet other parents. Your financial support is also appreciated as all funds are raised by parents to support this event. Any amount helps our parent group.
  • Shop RevTrak for other ways to support our students and school.
