Principal’s Message 9/11/2026 Dear Nederland Panthers,
Today, it really feels like fall has finally arrived in Nederland. The wind is blowing, and the leaves are beginning to change. I hope you’re able to get outside this weekend and enjoy our beautiful fall weather!
I also have some exciting news to share regarding the bond that was passed in 2022. Our old stadium scoreboard has been replaced with a brand-new scoreboard that is even bigger and painted in our school colors! I encourage you to check out the photo of this great new addition (or come to the games below and see for yourself!) This completes the outside bond work at our stadium, but this summer, there will be lots of construction taking place on the interior of our building.
Our small Nederland community has a tremendous amount of spirit, and with some big home games coming up next week—including matchups against our local rival Gilpin—we want as many Panthers as possible to come out and cheer our teams to victory! Remember, admission is free, and concessions will be available for purchase. Game times for Monday, September 14: HS Varsity Soccer: 4:00 p.m. vs. Windsor Charter HS JV Volleyball: 4:30 p.m. vs. Gilpin HS Varsity Volleyball: 5:30 p.m. vs. Gilpin Have a great weekend, and Go Panthers! Mr. DePaula |

AP/AD Message 9/11/2026
HS Cross Country had their first race last weekend, and they kicked it off with a fabulous start. The Liberty Bell Invitational is one of Colorado’s elite races, the girls’ team placed 3rd, with Amika Begin taking bronze in the race. Furthermore, Libby Chandler, Tyler Begin, and Amika Begin all set PRs. The team is running in the NedNed tomorrow, so come celebrate them when you see them out on the trails.
MS Flag Football played their first two games yesterday, and they competed well. Although they didn’t win, they kept the games close, despite playing against teams with older athletes and who have had an extra week of practice. Thanks for signing up, middle schoolers!
HS Mountain Biking has their 2nd race of the season on Sunday in Steamboat Springs. They earned 2nd place last race, and look to keep the momentum going this race. Ride fast, Panthers! Finally, HS Volleyball and HS Soccer want to see you for our big home games next week, including against local rival Gilpin.
Game times for Monday, September 14: HS Varsity Soccer: 4:00 p.m. vs. Windsor Charter HS JV Volleyball: 4:30 p.m. vs. Gilpin HS Varsity Volleyball: 5:30 p.m. vs. Gilpin Go Panthers!
