| Greetings Fairview Families!
It has been two weeks full of mixed emotions as we have hosted Senior Nights at our school events. Having a senior myself, I realize the mixed emotions of pride and sadness of the “last times.” I hope you enjoy every last minute with your students!
I continue to be amazed by the students, staff and community of Fairview! Last week, Fairview High School proudly participated in the 4th annual BVSD “Place to Be” Showcase at CU, where nearly 2,000 community members explored schools and programs across the district. A huge thank you to our dedicated staff and students who represented Fairview and shared what makes our school so special. Our student and staff leaders showcased Fairview’s four pillars of excellence: academics, athletics, arts, and activities. They were outstanding ambassadors for our school and truly demonstrated what makes Fairview and BVSD the place to be!
We are busily preparing for our own Showcase Knight on Tuesday, November 17, 2026 where we will host hundreds of families considering their options for high school. It is a true opportunity for celebration as we showcase all of our academics, athletics, arts, and activities. If you know anyone considering Fairview for next school year or if they are shopping for schools, please have them contact our office for more information about the Showcase Knight. I want to take a minute to celebrate some of our amazing students and staff: The Fairview Marching Band received 4th place in the state Colorado Bandmaster Association competition.
The Fairview Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams placed 2nd in the Regional XC races and will be competing at the State XC Championships tomorrow in Colorado Springs. The Fairview Boys Soccer Team advanced in the first round of the playoffs beating Northfield 5-1.
The FHS Football Team won a shootout by the score of 84-63 against Legacy HS and has positioned themselves well to advance to the state playoffs. The Fairview Mountain Bike Team is competing for a state championship in the State Mountain bike Championships tomorrow in Glenwood Springs.
Our Student Council and National Honor Society provided an AMAZING and magical Trick or Treat Street experience for hundreds of families in our community. I am incredibly proud of all of our Knights! Sko’ Knights! Thank you for your partnership! Brent |
